Severyane restaurant – Moscow

My friends took me there for a lunch. Nice place, open kitchen. They have 2 Russian furnaces and they prepare vast majority of the food in them. So it is kind of interesting experience.

I ordered Wild mushrooms soup on veggie broth with potatoes noodles.

The soup was really good. Like surprisingly good.
Second dish was potatoes, asparagus and broccoli baked in the furnace

I asked to prepare it with less oil. Actually I’m a bit afraid to think how much oil do they put in the dish if one doesn’t request to use less oil than intended… But, it was good as well!

Although their coffee is so sour – it is almost impossible to drink. They tell whole lot of fairy tales regarding their coffee, but it is too sour…

I’ve been there in a great company of my colleagues from Moscow office:

In conclusion: Nice place to go if you are in a company of omnivores 🙂
