Ingredients: | 1. 1kg (2 pounds) firm tofu block |
2. Liquid Aminos or soy sauce | |
3. Sriracha hot chili sauce | |
4. Liquid smoke | |
5. Lemon juice | |
6. Agave syrup/maple syrup | |
Preparations Part 1: | 1. Open tofu package and drain all water |
2. Wrap tofu in paper towels and put some weight on it to squeeze remaining water | |
3. While tofu is under pressure – prepare the marinade | |
Marinade: | 1. Splash of Liquid Smoke |
2. 2 table spoons of Sriracha Hot Chili sauce | |
3. 5 table spoons of Liquid Aminos or soy sauce | |
4. Splash of lemon juice | |
5. Fill the box with water to cover the tofu | |
6. Teaspoon of agave syrup/maple syrup | |
Put it in the fridge for couple of hours to marinate.
Baking: heat up your oven to 180℃ (356℉)
Put a silicone mat on the baking sheet and distribute the tofu on the baking sheet. Put in oven for 40 minutes.
